Strategic Sector Marketing Lead

Full-time | Eindhoven (hybrid) | €1.3 Billion Revenue

With a sharp focus on end-to-end process improvement and circular value propositions, you’ll strengthen our market position, grow our customer base, and boost revenue—while building your own leadership impact along the way.

 

Your mission

  • Sector Insights & Strategy Develop: a comprehensive understanding of sector-specific trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify key growth opportunities, emerging threats, and potential risks. Leverage these insights to inform strategic decisions and position the company as a leader in the sector.
  • Innovation & Partnerships: Lead cross-functional initiatives aligned with strategic pillars, translating them into compelling value propositions. Contribute to the development of new services, product offerings, and partnerships by integrating customer and market feedback into actionable solutions.
  • Customer Growth: You identify new business opportunities and help expand both new and existing customer relationships with tailor-made solutions that create value.
  • Client Relationship Management: Strengthen client relationships by presenting innovative solutions that provide additional value. Implement strategies to increase revenue through up-selling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings to existing clients, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Empower Our Sales Teams: Coordinate and lead training sessions for sales teams, focusing on the effective communication of our value propositions. Equip the team with the tools and knowledge needed to address customer needs, overcome objections, and differentiate our solutions from competitors.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with internal stakeholders—sales, marketing, operations, product teams—to ensure seamless execution and measurable results

What do you Bring?

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in sector management, business development, or strategic marketing, preferably within the waste, recycling, or environmental services industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from market data and industry reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to drive both short-term wins and long-term growth.

Extra informatie

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in coaching and developing a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment, and supporting individual growth to enhance team performance and achievement of strategic goals.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is required for this role.
